VÖ: FEBRUARY 01, 1995
UNIVERSAL MUSIC - GERMAN GRAMOPHONE

David Garrett's debut album of Beethoven's Spring Sonata was released in October 1995. He recorded it at the incredible age of 13 in November 1993 in the beautiful library hall of Polling Abbey. The Spring Sonata is one of the most popular works in the classical repertoire. Also included are J.S. Bach's D minor Partita and Mozart's Adagio K. 261. "At the very least 'a phenomenon' this young violinist must be called," raves music critic Wolf-Eberhard von Lewinski, "I am eagerly awaiting the upcoming Mozart concerto recording with Abbado," writes the Gramophone reviewer.

David Garrett - Violin
Alexander Markovich - piano
